special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 17th day
of August in each and every year during the currency of
such loan being a period of ten years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

TAURANGA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling the
Tauranga Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
the principal and interest and other charges in respect of
the Tauranga Electric-power Board Electrical Extension
Loan of £50,000, authorized to be raised by the Tauranga
Electric-power Board by special order under section 15 of
the Finance Act, 1936 (No. 2), for the purpose of supplying
and distributing electrical energy throughout the Board’s
District, the Board hereby makes and levies a special rate
of one penny farthing (1¼d.) in the pound on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property in the Tauranga Electric-power District and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the
1st day of March in each and every year during the currency
of such loan being a period of twenty (20) years or until the
loan is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct
copy of a resolution passed by the Board and appearing in
the minutes of the proceeding on the 17th day of February,
1939.

matter of GARNHAM AND TAYLOR, LIMITED (in
Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that by a resolution signed by
all the members of the company on Wednesday, the
15th day of February, 1939, it was resolved that the company
be wound up voluntarily and that JOHN HOWARD BARNETT,
of Wellington, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby
appointed Liquidator: and
Notice is hereby given that the creditors of the above-
named company are required on or before the 6th day of
April, 1939, being the day for that purpose fixed by the
undersigned to send their names and addresses, particulars
of their debts and claims, and the names and addresses of
their solicitors, if any, to John Howard Barnett, Public
Accountant, Featherston Chambers, Wellington, the
liquidator of the said company and, if so required, by notice
in writing by the said liquidator are, or their solicitors, to
come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time
and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default
thereof they will be excluded from the benefits of any
distribution made before such debts are proved.

subsisting between ERNEST HUBERT FEWTRELL and
HENRY WILLIAM OATEN, carrying on business at Omakau,
as Drapers, under the style or firm of E. H. Fewtrell and
Company, has been dissolved as from the 31st day of January,
1939, and that the said business as from that date will be
carried on by the said Henry William Oaten.
