road to its intersection by the Whangarei Borough boundary ;
thence in generally southerly, westerly, and northerly
directions following the Whangarei Borough boundary as
described in Gazette 1923, page 850, and Gazette 1927, page
2073, to and across the Port Whangarei Road ; thence in
an easterly direction along the northern side of that road
to the point of commencement.

Also all that area, bounded by a line commencing at a
point in Block IX, Whangarei Survey District, where the
northern side of the Port Whangarei Road intersects the
generally eastern boundary of Part Okara Block ; thence in
a generally southerly direction along the generally eastern
side of the Port Whangarei Road to the middle of the Haha
Creek (Limeburners Creek) ; thence in a south-westerly
direction along a right line crossing the Port Whangarei
Road at right angles and passing through a point midway
across the bridge, to the North Auckland Main Trunk Rail-
way ; thence in a north-westerly direction along the north-
eastern side of that railway to its intersection by the
Whangarei Borough boundary ; thence in a northerly
direction generally along the aforesaid borough boundary

• Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Town of Horopito
  West Suburbs, Wellington Land District.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of
December, 1938.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation as a site for a public
cemetery over the land described in the Schedule hereto ;
and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in
the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the
Land Act, 1924.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for gravel
purposes :

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the
reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve
for recreation purposes :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of
the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928,
doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for
gravel purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.

purposes :

and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by section sixty-one of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that from the moneys
received in respect of the Pukearuhe Domain, described in
the First Schedule hereto, and at the date hereof lying to the
credit of the said domain, a sum not exceeding one hundred
and forty pounds shall be applied in managing, administering,
and improving the St. Helen’s Domain described in the
Second Schedule hereto.
