WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a public road—for which purpose the following land requires to be taken by the Waipa County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928 (that is to say):—
All that piece of land containing 2 roods 39·5 perches (more or less), being part of Tokanui 1b 2b 2c Block, situated in Block X, Puniu Survey District. As the same is delineated coloured yellow on a plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland under No. 29906.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the office of the Waipa County Council, Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such land and to send such writing to the Waipa County Council within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE RAUMAI SOCIAL HALL COMPANY, LIMITED (in voluntary liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders of the above-named company held at the Hall, Raumai, on Saturday, 26th day of November, 1938, the following special resolution was passed :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. J. A. McDONELL, of Ashhurst, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

IN accordance with the provisions of section 222, subsection 1, of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given of the following special resolution of the shareholders of Aviation Development, Limited :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that MR. GEORGE WILLIAM HUTCHISON, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court dated the 21st day of November, 1938, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £75,000 to £37,500, and the minute approved by the Court, showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 24th day of November, 1938.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of Marshalls Proprietary, Limited, will be held on the 7th day of December, 1938, at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed, and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the Chamber of Commerce Board Room, Dowling Street, Dunedin, on the 7th day of December, 1938, at 2.45 o’clock in the afternoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act may appoint a committee of inspection.

LONDON MARKETS (WELLINGTON), LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above-named company, held at the registered office, 105 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 23rd November, 1938, the following extraordinary resolution was passed :—
“ That it having been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same, it is resolved that the company be and is hereby wound up voluntarily ;
“ And that DAVID THOMPSON BARNETT, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”
The appointment of the liquidator was confirmed by a meeting of creditors held on the same day.
All persons or companies having claims against the above-named company are required to send full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before the 31st day of December, 1938, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.
