HUNTLY BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and the Finance Act, 1936 (No. 2), the Huntly Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Huntly Borough Streets and Footpaths Loan of £6,000, 1938, authorized to be raised by the Huntly Borough Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of reforming and sealing all the principal streets and reforming and concreting all the principal footpaths in the Borough, the Huntly Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2½d. (twopence and one-eighth pence) in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Huntly, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring special rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such special loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off."
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the resolution appearing in the minute-book of the Huntly Borough Council, and passed at a meeting of the said Council held on the 22nd day of November, 1938.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Borough of Huntly hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on the Water-supply Loan, 1937, of fourteen thousand five hundred pounds (£14,500) authorized to be raised by the Borough of Huntly under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the installation of the water-supply of the said Borough, the said Borough of Huntly hereby resolves that the special rate of 2½d. in the pound made and levied on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Huntly, comprising the whole of the Borough, on the 22nd day of March, 1938, be increased to 3½d. in the pound, and that such special rate of 3½d. in the pound is hereby made and levied on the aforesaid rateable property and shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan of £14,500 and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan or until the loan is fully paid off."
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the resolution appearing in the minute-book of the Huntly Borough Council, and passed at a meeting of the said Council held on the 22nd day of November, 1938.

THE GLENPARK FLOUR MILLING CO., LTD.
IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that the final general meeting of the Glenpark Flour Milling Co., Ltd. (in liquidation), will be held in the office of Messrs. R. Jamieson and Co., Ltd., 480 Moray Place, Dunedin, on Friday, 16th day of December, 1938, at 4.30 p.m., for the purpose of receiving an account of the manner in which the winding up of the company's affairs has been conducted and its property disposed of, and of hearing any explanation thereon, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution, the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

THE THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Thames Valley Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on the Extension Loan, 1938, of £90,000, authorized to be raised by the Thames Valley Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing, constructing, and providing electric works, as defined in the Electric-power Board's Act, 1925, in order to supply and to extend the supply of electricity within the whole of the Thames Valley Electric-power district, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-ninth of a penny (1/9d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Thames Valley Electric-power district, as defined in the Proclamation proclaiming the said district appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of the 8th January, 1920, at page 12, excepting the area excluded by Proclamation appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of the 6th September, 1923, at page 2318, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Thames Valley Electric-power Board, held on Tuesday, 5th day of July, 1938, at 12 noon.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of H. L. SPROSEN, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that by an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 22nd day of November, 1938, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £2,000 to £1,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the said Act was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies on the 25th day of November, 1938. The said minute is in the words and figures following:
"The capital of H. L. Sprosen, Limited is £1,000 divided into 2,000 shares of 10s. each, reduced from £2,000 divided into 2,000 shares of £1 each."
At the time of the registration of this minute the whole of the said shares have been subscribed and have been and are deemed to be fully paid up.

NOTICE is hereby given that Robert Stuart King, of Te Ore Ore, Masterton, Farmer, and Robert Edinburgh Chamberlain, of Te Ore Ore, Masterton, Farmer, have been appointed Managing Ratepayers of the Te Ore Ore Water-supply in place of John Charles Smith, late of Te Ore Ore, Masterton, deceased, and Walter Blake, of Te Ore Ore, Masterton, resigned.
