Additional Land at Glen Eden, taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Glen Eden in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith: Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5432, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of November, 1938.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at Gore to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly: Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 25·72 perches.

Altering the Boundaries of the Wairarapa Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Wairarapa Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area situated in the Wellington Land District and being portion of the Featherston County bounded by a line commencing at a point situated on the western boundary of the Wairarapa Electric-power District on the south-west boundary of Section 487, Block III, Wairarapa Survey District, at the north-east corner of Section 384, Block III, Wairarapa Survey District, and following in a north-westerly direction the north-east boundary of the said Section 384 to its northern corner; thence following in a westerly direction generally the northern boundaries of Section 384, Block III, and Sections 385, 386, 387, 454, 455, 456, 457, 458, 459, 460, 461, 462, and 463, Block II, Wairarapa Survey District, to the north-west corner of the last-named section; thence following in a south-easterly direction the south-west boundary of the said Section 463 to the northern corner of Lot 20, L.T.P. 141, of Section 350, Block II, Wairarapa Survey District; thence following the north-western boundary of the said Lot 20 to the western corner of this Section; thence following in a south-easterly direction the south-western boundaries of the said Lot 20 and of Lot 21 of the above-mentioned Section 350 to the southernmost corner of the said Lot 21; thence following the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block II, Wairarapa Survey District to its southernmost corner; thence following in a south-westerly direction generally the south-eastern boundary of the State Forest Reserve, Blocks I and V, Wairarapa Survey District, to the south-western corner of Section 95, Block V, Wairarapa Survey District; thence by a right line across the Cross Creek Road to a point on the northern boundary of Section 108, Block V, Wairarapa Survey District; thence following in a westerly direction the northern boundary of the said Section 108 to its north-west corner; thence following in a south-easterly direction the south-western boundaries of Sections 108 and 86, Block V, and Sections 10 and 82, Block VI, Wairarapa Survey District, to the southern corner of the said Section 82; thence following in a north-easterly direction generally a public road running along the shores of Lake Wairarapa to the Lake Trig at the south-eastern corner of Section 389, Block VII, Wairarapa Survey District: thence following in a westerly and northerly direction generally the western boundary of the Wairarapa Electric-power District to the starting point; the same being more particularly shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 101032, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of November, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Amendment Act, 1927, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting with the consent of the Tararua Electric-power Board do hereby declare that from the date hereof the area described in the Schedule hereto being now an outer area of the Tararua Electric-power District shall be an outer area of the Wairarapa Electric-power District.
