Land proclaimed as Road in Block VII, Waimea Survey District, Waimea County.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Waimea Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road : 2 perches.
Being portion of Section 77, Waimea East.
Situated in Block VII, Waimea Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9013.)
In the Nelson Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100022, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of November, 1938.

Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Kawhia County, containing by admeasurement 4,880 acres 3 roods 11 perches, more or less, and being Section 3, Block IX, and Sections 1, 2, 4, and 5, Block XIII, Alexandra Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 27/5, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plans S.O. 17973, 17975, 19164.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of November, 1938.

Altering the Boundaries of the Egmont National Park.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section four of the Egmont National Park Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Egmont National Park as described in the First Schedule to the said Act by including therein the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SECTIONS 1 and 2, Block V, Egmont Survey District : Area, 469 acres 0 roods 30 perches, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of November, 1938.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 42, set apart by Proclamation dated the ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and gazetted on the twelfth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes ; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SECTION 32, Block X, Woodland Survey District : Area, 95 acres 2 roods, more or less.
Also Section 5, Block XI, Woodland Survey District : Area, 224 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of November, 1938.

Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the Westland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

W HEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes :
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing 1 acre 0 roods 16·9 perches, more or less, being portion of Reserve 969, situated in Block I, Punakaiki Survey District, bounded as follows : Commencing at the north-western corner of Section 2598, Block I, Punakaiki Survey District ; thence following the western boundary of that section bearing 180° 00′ for 496·6 links to the intersection of a road ; thence following the north-eastern side of that road bearing 307° 56′ for 512·0 links ; thence bearing 56° 23′ 30″ for 287·5 links ; thence following the southern side of a road bearing 82° 07′ 30″ for 165·8 links to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/6r, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of November, 1938.
