District under the Marriage Act, 1908, abolished.

[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor-General by the Marriage Act, 1908, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing marriage districts known as the Wainui and Weber districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into one marriage district, the name and boundaries whereof shall be as follow :—

WEBER DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay and Wellington Land Districts bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea-coast in line with the southern boundary of Arataura No. 2 Block; thence south-westerly along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Akitio River; thence up the middle of the Akitio River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of the Wellington Land District; thence north-westerly along that boundary to Wahataura Trig. Station; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Puketoi 6A and 6B Blocks to Oporae Trig. Station; thence north-easterly along a right line passing through Armstrongs View Trig. Station to the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Block II, Weber Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Blocks X, XI, and XII, Weber Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XII aforesaid; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Blocks XII, Weber Survey District, and I, Tautane Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Block I aforesaid; thence south-easterly along a right line to the westernmost corner of Porangahau 1 No. 1A Block; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Porangahau 1 No. 1A and Arataura No. 3 and 2 Blocks to the sea, the place of commencement.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of November, 1938.

District under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, abolished.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor-General by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Wainui and Weber Districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into one registration district, the name whereof shall be the Weber District, and the boundaries whereof shall be conterminous with the boundaries of the marriage district bearing the same name as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908 :

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of November, 1938.

Crown Land set apart for the Purposes of a State Highway Depot in Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of a State highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart : 3 roods 2 perches.
Being portion of Section 61, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District. (S.O. 235/31.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99862, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of November, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of Crown land set apart :—

18 2 28·6 Part Section 2 (formerly parts of Runs Nos. 9 and 10); coloured red.
3 2 1·5 Part Section 2 (formerly part of Run No. 10); coloured neutral.
2 1 24·2 Part Section 3 (formerly part of Run No. 10); coloured blue.

All situated in Block XIV, Wairoa Survey District. (S.O. 20066.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99132, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of November, 1938.
