And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of subsection two of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the fourteenth and the fifteenth days of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, approved the proposed change of purpose as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one $(a)$ of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 , and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby change the purpose of the said reservations over the lands described in the Schedules hereto to a reserve for a hospital-site.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods $0 \cdot 6$ perches, more or less, being part of Reserve Number 344, situated in the Borough of Timaru, and bounded as follows : Towards the north by Queen Street, $637 \cdot 79$ links; towards the east by High Street, $146 \cdot 00$ links and $557 \cdot 47$ links; towards the south and west by other parts of Reserve Number 344, $664 \cdot 30$ links and $696 \cdot 60$ links respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/8/7A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood $8 \cdot 3$ perches, more or less, being part of Reserve Number 344, situated in the Borough of Timaru, and being identical with Lot 2, D.P. 10972, Canterbury Land Registry: Bounded towards the north by Queen Street, $31 \cdot 76$ links ; towards the east and south by other part of Reserve Number 344, $696 \cdot 60$ links and $43 \cdot 63$ links respectively; and again towards the west by other part of Reserve Number 344, $594 \cdot 75$ links and $101 \cdot 85$ links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/8/7B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered yellow.

Revoking the Reservation for Recreation Purposes over Reserves in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of October, 1938.

His EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the reservation for recreation purposes over the lands described in the First Schedule hereto shall be cancelled was published in the Gazette of the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight:
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of subsection two of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :
And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the fourteenth and the fifteenth days of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, approved the proposed revocation as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one $(b)$ of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 , and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for recreation purposes over the lands described in the First Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, may be disposed of by the said body corporate by way of sale by public auction or private contract at such price and on such terms and conditions as the said body corporate shall determine, but so that the proceeds of any such sale shall be used and applied in or towards recouping the said body corporate for the moneys expended by it in the purchase for recreation purposes of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement $29$ perches, more or less, being Lot 15 on the plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 7507, and being part Rural Section 125, situated in the City of Christchurch, and bounded as follows : Towards the north by Lot 14, D.P. 7507, and Lionel Street, $131 \cdot 7$ links; towards the east by Lot 26, D.P. 7472, 138.65 links; towards the south by Lot 1, D.P. 7555, 131.6 links; and towards the west by Lot 14, D.P. 7507, $137 \cdot 1$ links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/975/1F, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
All that area containing by admeasurement 28 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 10737, and being part Rural Section 161, situated in the City of Christchurch, and bounded as follows : Towards the north by Lot 1, D.P. 10737, 230 links; towards the east by Kerrs Road, $76 \cdot 2$ links; towards the south and west by Lot 3, D.P. 10737, 230 links and $76 \cdot 2$ links respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/975/1D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 0 roods 1.5 perches, more or less, being Lots 7 to 21 inclusive, and Lot 69, D.P. 9195, being part Rural Section 161, situated in the City of Christchurch, and being part of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 217, folio 295. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/975/1C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Recreation Reserve in Hawke's Bay Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of October, 1938.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Hawke's Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Hutchinson Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL those areas situated in Block XIV, Pohui Survey District, containing by admeasurement 180 acres O roods 4-5 perches, more or less, and being Lots $1,2,5,8,9$, and 12, D.P. 6529, being part Block 13, Patoka Crown Grant District, parts Rural Sections 7 and 9, Puketitiri Reserve, and parts Sections 60 and 63, Block XIV, Pohui Survey District. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1039A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
