Vesting the Control of Reserves for Camping Purposes in the Canterbury Automobile Association (Incorp.).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of September, 1938.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto are areas permanently reserved for camping purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserves should be vested in the Canterbury Automobile Association (Incorp.):
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserves in the Canterbury Automobile Association (Incorp.).
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE 1176, Block XI, Waiho Survey District: Area, 1 acre 3 roods 37 perches, more or less.
Also Reserve 1218, Block XI, Waiho Survey District: Area, 1 acre 2 roods 18·6 perches, more or less.

Recreation Reserve in Canterbury Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of September, 1938.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Waikakahi Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

RESERVE 3486, Block XV, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 10 acres, more or less.

Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council changing the Reservation over Part of the Taupo Domain, Auckland Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance with the requirements of subsection two of section seven of the said Act, declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is part of the Taupo Domain but is not required for domain purposes, and it is expedient to change the purpose of the reservation over the said land to a reserve for public buildings of the General Government:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring that the part of the Taupo Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be a reserve for public buildings of the General Government.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PART OF TAUPO DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Taupo County containing by admeasurement 2 roods 8·2 perches, more or less, being part Section 1, Block XXXV, Town of Taupo, bounded: Towards the north by Waikato Street, 303·0 links; towards the south-east by Tongariro Road, 212·1 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by other part Section 1, Block XXXV, Town of Taupo, 298·1 and 157·9 links respectively, be all the aforesaid linkages, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/268A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
