At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of September, 1938.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Charles Robert McCartie,
Charles McCutcheon, and
Eric Butterfield Robertson

to be the Tahora Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at two o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Pavilion, Tahora, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TAHORA DOMAIN.—TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 17, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District: Area, 5 acres 1 rood 38·8 perches, more or less.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 30·69 perches, more or less, being Sections 44, 46, 47, 48, 65, and part Section 45, Town of Tahora, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west and north-east by Simpson Street, 1132·75 links; towards the south by Section 58, Tahora Suburban, 291·02 links; and towards the south-west by Waiau Road, 332·79 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/558, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink and green respectively.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, the public domains described in the Schedules hereto shall be united to form one public domain, to be known as the Westport No. 2 Domain.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

WESTPORT NO. 2 DOMAIN.—NELSON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTIONS 103 and 104, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District: Area, 91 acres 2 roods 12 perches, more or less.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

WESTPORT NORTH BEACH DOMAIN.—NELSON LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Borough of Westport, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 11 perches, more or less, being part Section 30, Block III, Kawatiri Survey District, bounded as follows: Towards the north by Sections 1084, 1089, 1090, 1091, 1092, and 1093, Town of Westport, a distance of 717·9 links; towards the east by Section 67, Block III, Kawatiri Survey District, a distance of 162·8 links; towards the south by a public street for a distance of 793·2 links; and towards the west by Derby Street, a distance of 719·5 links; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/772A, deposited in the Head Office of the Lands and Survey Department at Wellington, and thereon in outline edged red. Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Borough of Geraldine, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of September, 1938.

His Excellency the GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for municipal purposes:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for public buildings of the General Government:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for municipal purposes to a reserve for public buildings of the General Government.
