SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 2 acres 0 roods 10 perches.
Being portion of Waipapa 1B 2A Block.
Situated in Block X, Puketi Survey District. (W.D. plan 4343.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1426A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2820, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of August, 1938.

Lands set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being parts of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 76, set apart by Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the twenty-fifth day of that month, are required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL those areas in Ohinemuri County, containing a total area of 359 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, situated in Block I, Aroha Survey District, being portions of the area of 4,886 acres of Crown land set apart as provisional State forest by proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 925, and more particularly described as follows:—

All that area bounded towards the north-west generally by Rotokohu No. 3A 2 Block, Lots 141, 140, 139, 138, 137, 136, and 135 on D.P. 1757, and part of Raratu No. 2 Block; towards the north-east generally by Section 7, Block I, Aroha Survey District; again towards the north-west generally by Section 7 aforesaid and the abutment of a public road; towards the south-west generally by a public road; again towards the north-west generally by Section 13 of the aforesaid Block I to a public road; thence towards the north-east generally by a public road, the crossing of a public road, again by the first-mentioned road, the crossing of a public road, and again by the first-mentioned road to its intersection with another public road; towards the south-east generally by a public road, the crossing of a public road, again by the first-mentioned road, the crossing of a public road, and by public roads to the north-eastern boundary of Section 18 of the aforesaid Block I; and towards the south-west generally by Section 18 aforesaid; save and excepting two intersecting public roads.

Also all that area, bounded, commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 19, Block I, Aroha Survey District; thence towards the south-west, south-east, and north-east generally by part Provisional State Forest No. 76, following right lines, bearing 123° 36′, 855·3 links, 139° 52′ 30″, 1528·8 links, 54° 58′, 2825·3 links, 24° 15′, 1031·1 links, 326° 39′, 3969·5 links, to a public road; towards the north-west generally by a public road; towards the south-east and south-west by Section 10 of aforesaid Block I and towards the north-west by Sections 10 and 19 of the aforesaid Block I.

Also all that area, bounded, commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of Section 18, Block I, Aroha Survey District, distant 108·6 links from its easternmost corner; thence towards the south generally by part Provisional State Forest No. 76, following right lines, bearing 59° 11′, 172·1 links, 73° 12′, 282·1 links, 109° 04′, 428·8 links, 107° 56′, 327·4 links, to a public road; towards the north-east and north-west generally by public roads; and towards the south-west generally by Section 18 aforesaid.

Also all that area, bounded, commencing at the easternmost corner of Section 1, Block I, Aroha Survey District; thence towards the south-east generally by part Provisional State Forest No. 76, following right lines, bearing 32° 13′, 491·5 links, 63° 48′, 701·2 links, to the south-western boundary of Section 18 of the aforesaid Block I; towards the north-east by Section 18; towards the north-west by Section 9; and towards the south-west by Section 1, all of the aforesaid Block I.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1432/45A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of August, 1938.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.


SCHEDULE.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District containing by admeasurement 499 acres, more or less, being Lot 2 of Section 1, Block I, Heringa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by a State forest (Gazette, 1881, page 959); towards the north-east by the Nelson–Blenheim Main Highway; towards the east by Lot 1 of Section I, Block I, and Section 6, Block II, Heringa Survey District; and towards the south by Section 2, Block I, Section 9, Block IV, and a State forest (Gazette, 1932, page 2506), Block I, Heringa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 103/10, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of August, 1938.

Revocation of the Reservation of part of a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the reservation as a permanent State forest of the area of land described in the Schedule hereto (which reservation was effected by Warrant dated the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, and by the State Forests Act, 1908).
