Captain J. L. Hunter, 1st Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Wellington West Coast Regiment. Dated 22nd July, 1938.
Captain H. A. H. Insull, from the Hawke’s Bay Regiment, to be Captain, with seniority from 24th August, 1934, and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated 28th July, 1938.
Lieutenant H. E. Solomon, 1st Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class II (b), Area 10. Dated 22nd July, 1938.

His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces:—
N.Z. STAFF CORPS.
Captain R. J. D. Davis is posted to the Retired List with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 22nd July, 1938.
REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.
Captain W. D. Corbett, from the Reserve of Officers, to be Captain, with seniority from 10th November, 1932, is granted the temporary rank of Major, and is appointed to command the 6th Field Battery. Dated 1st June, 1938.
Captain F. A. Aldridge, 9th Field Battery, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 10. Dated 18th July, 1938.
Lieutenant G. M. Beaumont ceases to be posted to the 14th Medium Battery, and is posted to Headquarters, 3rd Artillery Brigade Group. Dated 8th July, 1938.
Bandmaster (Hon. Lieutenant) A. W. E. Webb, 3rd Artillery Brigade Group, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 11. Dated 18th July, 1938.
CORPS OF N.Z. ENGINEERS.
Captain R. Morrison ceases to be attached to the Otago Regiment and is attached to the Wellington West Coast Regiment. Dated 18th July, 1938.
THE HAURAKI REGIMENT.
2nd Lieutenant N. R. Wynn, seconded 1st Composite Battalion, to be Lieutenant. Dated 1st March, 1938.
THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT.
Jack Beaumont Hepworth (late Lieutenant, the Wellington Regiment) to be Lieutenant and is posted to the 3rd Cadet Battalion. Dated 7th February, 1938.
2nd Lieutenant A. R. Fitchett, from the Otago Regiment, to be 2nd Lieutenant, with seniority from 29th August, 1936, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 7th July, 1938.
Edward Stratton Hobson to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) and is posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 21st February, 1938.
John Benjamin Thurston to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated 1st March, 1938.
THE WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGIMENT.
Major E. H. Whiting, from the Reserve of Officers, to be Major, with seniority from 23rd March, 1938, is posted to the Regimental Depot, and is seconded to Central Military District Headquarters for duty as Publicity Officer. Dated 23rd May, 1938.
Captain R. Morrison, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, is attached under the provisions of paragraph 141, General Regulations, 1927, and is posted to the Regimental Depot. Dated 18th July, 1938.
Lieutenant T. G. Campbell ceases to be seconded to the 2nd Composite Battalion and is posted to the Regimental Depot. Dated 30th June, 1938.
Lieutenant E. H. Simpson, Regimental Depot, is seconded to the 2nd Composite Battalion. Dated 30th June, 1938.
