SEVENTH PART.
Waimamaku Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
All that area of land lying entirely within the County of Hokianga, North Auckland District, and bounded by a line commencing at the foreshore of the Hokianga Harbour, Section 4, Pakanae, Waoku Survey District; and thence from this point following the foreshore of the harbour to the heads; and thence in a southerly direction along the coast, facing the Tasman Sea to the point where the foreshore meets the southern boundary of Block VIII, Waoku Survey District; thence continuing in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of the said block to and along the southern boundary of Block XIII, Waoku Survey District; thence to and along the southern boundary of Block XIV, Waoku Survey District; thence following the eastern boundary of the same block and moving in a northerly direction to the north-eastern corner of the same block; and thence continuing the line across country directly north to the point where it would intersect the boundary of the Rawene Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area; thence following the southern boundary of the said pool in a westerly direction to the foreshore of the Hokianga Harbour at Section 4, Pakanae, in the Waoku Survey District, and the original point of commencement.

The Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22.—Fixing the Closing-hours of Fruiterers’ Shops within the City of Wanganui.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing has been forwarded to me from the occupiers of fruiterers’ shops within the City of Wanganui pursuant to section 32 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22:
And whereas I am satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the said shops within the said city:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said section 32, I, William Lee Martin, acting for the Minister of Labour, do hereby direct that on and after the 15th day of August, 1938, all the said shops within the said city shall be closed in the evenings of working-days as follows: During the period from the 1st May to the 31st August (both days inclusive) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays at 11.30 p.m.

Classification of Roads in Whakatane County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, the Minister of Transport does hereby approve of the Whakatane County Council’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Whakatane County.
SCHEDULE.
WHAKATANE COUNTY.
ROADS classified in Class Four: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 5 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which when carrying a load has an axle weight of not more than 3 tons on any one axle.
McIvor Road.
Matahi Road.
Onepu Road.
Te Teko-Murupara Road.

Classification of Roads in Waitemata County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, the Minister of Transport does hereby revoke that Warrant dated the 5th day of October, 1932, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 65 of the 13th day of October, 1932, in so far as it relates to the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto, and does hereby approve of the Main Highways Board’s proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Waitemata County.
SCHEDULE.
WAITEMATA COUNTY.
ROAD classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 7 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which when carrying a load has an axle weight of not more than 4½ tons on any one axle.
Auckland-Helensville Main Highway No. 19 (that portion within Waitemata County from the northern boundary of Henderson Town District to the western boundary of Helensville Borough).

THE following special order made by the Ashburton County Council on the 1st day of July, 1938, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER.
In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 4 of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Ashburton County Council resolves by way of special order as follows:—
“That musk or nodding thistle (Carduus Nutans) be and is hereby declared to be a noxious weed within the County of Ashburton.”
Hauraki Plains Drainage Area.—Notice of Intention to make and levy Rates.
Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 26th July, 1938.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to the Hauraki Plains Act, 1926, to make and levy, on the unimproved value of all land within the district constituted under the said Act, the general rates to meet maintenance costs for the period 1st April, 1938, to 31st March, 1939, as described in the Schedule hereto.
The amount of such rates will be payable in one sum on the 11th August, 1938.
The valuation roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Land Drainage Engineer’s Office, Room 45, Government Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at the office of the Land Drainage Engineer, at Kerepeehi, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.
SCHEDULE.
Class A: On the unimproved value of all land classified as Class A by the appraiser appointed under the said Act, threepence and fifty-four one-hundredths of a penny (3·54d.) in the pound.
Class B: On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class B, twopence and two-hundredths of a penny (2·02d.) in the pound.
Class C: On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class C, fifty-one one-hundredths of a penny (0·51d.) in the pound.
