Unclaimed Lands General.
RETURN OF LAND VESTED IN THE PUBLIC TRUSTEE UNDER PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE ACT, 1908, PART II, UNCLAIMED LANDS, FOR THREE YEARS ENDED 31ST MARCH, 1938.
THE following schedule shows all land vested in the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part II, Unclaimed Lands, during the triennial period terminating on the 31st day of March, 1938, with the names of the person or persons believed by the Public Trustee to have any estate or interest therein. This return is made in pursuance of section 85 of the said Act.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the persons whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of either of the said persons shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to either of the said persons (either by their own or any fictitious or assumed names), or directed to either of the addresses mentioned in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be registered or forwarded by the Post-office of New Zealand.

The Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22.—Fixing the Closing hours of Fruiterers’ Shops within the Borough of Te Kuiti.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing has been forwarded to me from the occupiers of fruiterers’ shops within the Borough of Te Kuiti pursuant to section 32 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22 :
And whereas I am satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the said shops within the said borough :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said section 32, I, Hubert Thomas Armstrong, Minister of Labour, do hereby direct that on and after the 1st day of August, 1938, all the said shops within the said borough shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows: During the period from the 1st day of May to the 30th day of September (both days inclusive) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
