MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Workers’ Dwelling Loan, 1937, £1,200.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting a dwellinghouse on part Allotment 202, Manurewa Parish, in the Mangere Riding of the County of Manukau, the said Manukau County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one two-hundred-and-fiftieth of a penny (1/250d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Manukau, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I, Frank McIntyre Waters, Chairman of the Manukau County Council, hereby certify that the above is a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of a special meeting of the Manukau County Council held on the 14th day of January, 1938.
