VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION FOR PURPOSES OF RECONSTRUCTION.

BY special resolution passed on the 24th day of January, 1938, the members of J. T. Lewis, Limited, resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that EUNICE MARY HARVEY, of Wellington, Company Secretary, be appointed liquidator.

The business heretofore carried on by the company is being taken over by a new company registered under the name “J. T. Lewis, Limited.”

The business will be carried on under the same management and in the same premises, and all accounts and all correspondence in relation to the business should be sent to the secretary of J. T. Lewis, Limited, Featherston Street, Wellington, as heretofore.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.

I, LAURENCE ALEXANDER DAVISON, of Wellington, Minister of Religion, hereby give notice that by deed-poll executed by me on the 20th day of January, 1938, and enrolled in the Registry of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Wellington, I assumed and intend thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the Christian names and surname LAURENCE ALEXANDER DAVISON in lieu of the Christian names ALEXANDER LAWRENCE DAVISON, and to be at all times thereafter known and described by the Christian names and surname LAURENCE ALEXANDER DAVISON in lieu of the Christian names of ALEXANDER LAWRENCE DAVISON.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned ROBERT SLOAN BROWN and ALBERT PEACOCK ALLOO, as Barristers and Solicitors, at Express Company’s Buildings, No. 9 Bond Street, Dunedin, under the style of “Brown and Alloo” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 15th day of January, 1938.

The practice of the late partnership will in future be carried on by Robert Sloan Brown under the style of “R. S. Brown” who will receive all debts owing to and discharge all claims against the late partnership.
