SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 30·9 perches, be the same a little more or less, being the Town of Waiho Gorge Extension No. 1, situated in Block XI, Waiho Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the most northern corner of Section 3681, Block XI, Waiho Survey District; thence running 111° 22′ 30″ for 810·4 links; thence 144° 29′ 30″ for 177·3 links; thence 162° 33′ 30″ for 1255·2 links; and thence 323° 00′ 30″ for 2050·1 links to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on plan marked N.6/4/15, deposited in the Head Office of the Mines Department at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 18th day of January, 1938.

Notifying the proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the Otago Land District for other Land.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor-General, whenever he deems it expedient in the public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown land which is subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any such exchange to pay or receive any sum by way of equality of exchange:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the owner of the land described in the Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, doth hereby declare it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the land described in the Second Schedule.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
Otago Land District.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 66 acres 0 roods 23 perches, more or less, being Section 38 (formerly part Section 14), Block VIII, Tautuku Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 3092·3 links: towards the south-east by other part of Section 14 (now Section 39), 3925·0 links; towards the north-west by a road along the Fleming River, 1638·6, 1046·7, and 400·9 links; and again towards the north-west by Section 13, 1917·0 links, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/700B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
Otago Land District.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 163 acres 3 roods 4 perches, more or less, being Section 26, and parts of Sections 8 and 9, Block VIII, Tautuku Survey District. Bounded towards the west by Section 21, Block X, 749·3 links, across a public road and again by said Section 21, 885·4 links; towards the north-east by other parts of Sections 8 and 9, 4211·0, 409·9, 691·5, 322·9, 307·2, 505·4, 411·7, and 457·1 links; towards the east by Section 11, 446·5 links; towards the south-east by Section 10 and a public road, 976·1 and 227·2 links, respectively; across a public road and towards the east and south-west by the road along the Fleming and Tautuku Rivers, 9700 links, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, and being intersected by a public road 100 links wide, allowance for which has been made in the area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/700C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
