Producers' Representatives on the New Zealand Poultry Board

section 3 of the Poultry-runs Registration Act, 1933, to
appoint
Thomas Standish Dove, Esquire, and
Thomas Gill, Esquire,
to be producers' representatives on the New Zealand Poultry
Board established under the said Act.

Nelson for a further term of two years from the 24th day of

I, Denis Joseph Cummings, the Commissioner of
Police, do hereby appoint the member of the Force for the
time being in charge of the National Park Police-station to
be an authorized officer for the purposes of the said Act.

Riverton, as from the 30th day of May, 1938.

to be Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at
Panguru, as from the 18th day of May, 1938.

County Council, are published in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.

BULLER COUNTY COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section 13 (1) of the Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1926, it is hereby notified that at a poll of ratepayers of the
County of Buller taken on the 11th day of May, 1938, on the
proposal of the Buller County Council to borrow the sum of
£3,800 for the purpose of erecting new county offices:—

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was .. 595
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 148
The number of informal votes recorded was .. .. 21
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

WAIRoa COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan of £40,000.
PURSUANT to sections 12 and 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans
Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers
of the County of Wairoa taken on the 18th day of May, 1938,
on the proposal of the Wairoa County Council to borrow the
sum of forty thousand pounds (£40,000) for the following
purposes:—
(a) To provide the Council's share of cost of widening,
forming, culverting, and metalling county roads (£31,000).
(b) To provide the Council's share of the cost of the
preparation for and tar-sealing of eighteen miles of the
Wairoa-Morere section of the Gisborne-Wairoa via Morere
Main Highway (£9,000).
Votes.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was .. 337
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 74
I therefore declare the proposal was carried.
