Pursuant to the provisions of section 49 of the Native
Purposes Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General in Council has been pleased to appoint
Tatara Tieketahi, of Waitotara,
Maui Onekura, of Patea,
Teri Erueti Tekenui Pihama, of Oeo,
Nohomairangi te Whiti, of Pungarehu,
Hapi Love Wi Tako, of Petone, and
Tukotahi Tokotaua, of Tarata
to be members of the Taranaki Maori Trust Board.

Appointment of Advisory Committee under the Cinematograph
Films Act, 1928.

Pursuant to section 41 of the Cinematograph Films
Act, 1928, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the
Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby appoint
Wilfred Fosberry Stilwell, Esquire, M.C., Stipendiary
Magistrate
(as Chairman),
Stanley Herbert Craig, Esquire, and
Robertson McGregor Stewart, Esquire
(as representatives of the licensed renters),
Edward Joseph Righton, Esquire, and
John Robertson, Esquire, M.P.
(as representatives of the licensed exhibitors),
Roy Maltby Girling Butcher, Esquire, Chief Inspector
under the Cinematograph Films Act, 1928, and
Frederick Johnson, Esquire, Assistant Secretary, Department of Industries and Commerce,
to be an Advisory Committee under the Cinematograph Films
Act, 1928, to advise me on the following matter, namely:-
As to what amendments of the Standard Form of Film
Hiring Contract are necessary or desirable.
And I hereby declare that the members of the said Committee shall hold office for a period of six months from the
date hereof.

His Excellency the Governor-General has this day been
pleased
(1) In pursuance of subsection (2) of section 2 of the
Howard Estate Amendment Act, 1927, and on the joint
or other recommendation of the respective bodies mentioned
in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), and (d) of subsection (3) of the
said section to appoint
James Livingstone, Esquire,
Edward Averill, Esquire,
William Cuthbertson, Esquire, and
Arthur Robottom, Esquire,
respectively, to be members of the Howard Estate Advisory
Board, and
(2) In pursuance of subsection (5) of the said section 2,
to appoint
James Herbert Absolom, Esquire,
to be the representative on the said Board of the respective
bodies mentioned in paragraph (e) of subsection (3) of the
said section, and
(3) In pursuance of section 3 of the said Act, to name
Edward Averill, Esquire,
to be Chairman of the said Board.
