NOTICE is hereby given that the Automobile Associations Publishing Company (N.Z.), Limited, has changed its name to the New Zealand Motor World, Limited, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

THE RAUMATI CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of sections 232 and 275 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the office of the liquidator, 65 High Street, Dannevirke, at 2 o’clock p.m. on Thursday, the 26th May, 1938, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing how the winding up has been conducted and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books and papers of the company and of the liquidator shall be disposed of.

BOROUGH OF NEWMARKET.
RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.
Street Improvement Loan No. 9, 1937, of £11,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Newmarket Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £11,000 authorized to be raised by the Newmarket Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for street improvement purposes, the Newmarket Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence farthing (2½d.) in the pound on the annual rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Newmarket; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NEWMARKET BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.
Sarawai Street Reserve Development Loan, 1937, of £5,500.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Newmarket Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £5,500 authorized to be raised by the Newmarket Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the development of Sarawai Street Reserve as a recreation ground, the Newmarket Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound on the annual rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Newmarket; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

COUNTY OF AWATERE.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Council of the County of Awatere resolves as follows:—
“That for the purpose of providing the interest, repayments, and other charges on a loan of £26,000 authorized to be raised by the County of Awatere under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a high-pressure drinking water-supply within the Awatere Water-supply Special Area, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1·02d. in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of capital value of all rateable property of that area of the County of Awatere within and commencing at the junction of the Awatere River with the southerly point of Section 3, Block XXI, Taylor Pass Survey District, and following the Awatere River in an easterly direction to the sea, and bounded by the sea in a southerly direction to the corner of Section 5, Block XI, Clifford Bay Survey District, Section 6, Block X, and Section 7, Block XIII, Clifford Bay Survey District, thence bounded by the southerly boundaries of Sections 10, 12, 13, 14, and 8 of Block XI, Clifford Bay Survey District, Section 6, Block X, and Section 7, Block XIII, Clifford Bay Survey District, skirting the course of the Blind River in a south-westerly direction, and Section 8, Block XIII, Clifford Bay Survey District, and the southern boundaries of Sections 13, 12, and part 9, Block XXII, and Sections 5, 4, 3, Block XXI, Taylor Pass Survey District, to the point of commencement; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
It is hereby certified that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the county held on the 7th day of April, 1938.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Patea Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000 authorized to be raised by the Patea Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for extending and improving the electrical plant and reticulation so as to enable the system to better cope with the increasing demands, the Patea Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Patea, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
