In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and of THE HIGHWAYS TRANSPORT COMPANY, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).
THE liquidators of the Highways Transport Company, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily doth hereby fix the 20th day of May, 1938, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 3rd day of May, 1938, the following special resolution was duly passed :—
“ That in view of the purchase of the company’s business by the New Zealand Railways that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry dated 28th April, 1938, in the minute-book of the above-named company the following special resolution was duly passed :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. TURNER SMITH, Public Accountant, of Christchurch, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

NOTICE is hereby given that by special order confirmed on the 3rd day of May, 1938, the Otorohanga County Council declared the lands in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purpose of the construction of drainage works therein under the name of the Mangaorongo Drainage District.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Mangaorongo and Orahiri Survey Districts commencing at the Waipa River at the south-western corner of the Puketarata 4E 3 Block ; thence by the southern boundary of that block and the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Puketarata 4E 2 and the southern boundary of Lot 3 on Deposited Plan 22560 to the Ouruwhero Road ; thence southerly by that road and the western and southern boundaries of Section 9, Block I, Mangaorongo Survey District, to the railway ; thence across the railway and by the south-western boundary and south-eastern boundary of Puketarata No. 12 to Lot 3 of Section 10, Block I, Mangaorongo Survey District ; thence by the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of said Lot 3 and the south-western boundary of Lot 2 of the said Section 10 to the Auckland–Wellington Main Highway ; thence by that highway to Roberts Road ; thence by the north side of that road to the eastern boundary of Lot 14 of the said survey district ; thence by the western boundary of Puketarata 14B 1A ; thence by the south-western boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 31A and 31B to its junction to Rangitoto-Tuhua 31F 2 ; thence by the northern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 31F 2 and the south-western boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 31C to the most southerly corner of the latter block ; thence in a straight line to the most northerly corner of Section 9, Block 2, Mangaorongo Survey District ; thence by the south-westerly and south-easterly boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 29C 2H 1 to Lot 12 of the said survey district ; thence by the south-westerly boundary of the said Lot 12 to the Maihihi Road ; thence in a straight line to the north-western corner of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 12450 ; thence by the south-western boundary of said Lot 2 and the south-western and south-eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 29C 2A 2 to the Maihihi Road ; thence along that road and the Ngahape Road to Rangitoto A 14B 2 ; thence by the western boundary of Rangitoto A 14B 2, 14B 1A, and 14B 1B and Rangitoto A No. 1 Block 14A ; thence by the south-western boundary of Rangitoto A No. 1 to Lot 5 on Deposited Plan 11766 ; thence by the north-western boundary of the said Lot 5 to Rangitoto A 11B ; thence by the south-western boundary of the said Rangitoto A No. 1 to Rangitoto C Block ; thence by the southern boundary of Rangitoto C to the Mangaorongo Stream ; thence by the Mangaorongo Stream to Section 3, Block II, of the Mangaorongo Survey District ; thence by the eastern boundary of said Section 3 to the Auckland–Wellington Main Highway ; thence by the Auckland–Wellington Main Highway to Kio Kio Road ; thence by the southern side of the Kio Kio Road to the Kio Kio Railway-station and by the southern side of the Main Road westerly to the Ouruwhero Road ; thence by the Ouruwhero Road to the northern boundary of Lot 1, Deposited Plan 20996 ; thence by the southern boundary of Lot 2 on the said plan and western boundary of the said Lot 2 to the Waipa River ; thence south by the Waipa River to the point of commencement.
