Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses have been made.

Heberley, H. W. To take fish at Queen Charlotte Sound and vicinity by means of the 42 ft. 27 h.p. launch “Crescent,” using set and drag nets and long and hand lines Picton Granted 3 May, 1938.
Murray, R. L. To take fish at Castlepoint, Masterton, by means of a 45 ft. 75–100 h.p. launch, using long and hand lines Gisborne Granted 3 May, 1938.
Bromley, C. E. To take fish at Westport by means of the 23 ft. 4 h.p. launch “Violet,” using long and hand lines and set and drag nets Westport Granted 13 April, 1938.
Rae-Douglas, T. To take fish at Westport by means of the 18 ft. 1½ h.p. launch “Marie Celeste,” using set and drag nets and long and hand lines Westport Granted 13 April, 1938.
Hope, E. R. To take fish at French Pass and Marlborough Sounds by means of the 30½ ft. 8 h.p. launch “Balaena,” using set and drag nets and long and hand lines French Pass Granted 22 April, 1938.
Jane, F. W. To take fish at Napier by means of the 36 ft. 30 h.p. launch “Wiata,” using long and hand lines and trawling Napier Granted 22 April, 1938.
Hennig, A. E. To take fish at Dunedin by means of the 21 ft. 13 h.p. launch “Catherine,” using set and drag nets and hand-lines Otakou Granted 27 April, 1938.
Ingram, F. J. To take fish at Pelorus Sound by means of the 30 ft. 19 h.p. launch “Vera,” using set and drag nets and long and hand lines Canvastown, Blenheim Granted 29 April, 1938.
North, M. J. To take fish at Pelorus Sound by means of the 28 ft. 15 h.p. launch “Perry,” using set and drag nets and long and hand lines Havelock Granted 29 April, 1938.
Wade, W. D. To take fish at Kaikoura by means of the 18 ft. 19 h.p. launch “Nancy,” using set-nets and long-lines Kaikoura Granted 29 April, 1938.
Pharmacy (Dispensing of Prescriptions.)
Blinkhorn, H. W. To establish a new pharmacy at Lower Hutt Lower Hutt Granted 3 May, 1938.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit.
Foreman Motors, Ltd. To transfer one pump from kerbside in front of company’s garage in Alma Street to new garage in Hood Street Hamilton Granted, provided the pump installed inside the new garage 26 April, 1938.
Sutherland and Pearson, Ltd. To group four pumps in front of company’s property, Queen Street, Onehunga Auckland Declined 26 April, 1938.
Hawke Motors, Ltd. To transfer two pumps from Bridge Street to Lipsey Street Te Aroha Granted 26 April, 1938.
Gough, Gough, and Hamer, Ltd. To install petrol pump at company’s premises Palmerston North Declined 26 April, 1938.
C. E. Spears To install four pumps at a proposed service station on the corner of Barbadoes Street and Cambridge Terrace Christchurch Declined 26 April, 1938.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit.
Deadman Bros. License granted to install pump inside garage Utiku Withdrawn 26 April, 1938.
Lawson, C. F. License granted to resell motor-spirit from a portable pump Lake Kanieri Withdrawn 26 April, 1938.
Cooper, H. License granted to install two pumps in front of garage Halswell Withdrawn 26 April, 1938.
