Notice to Persons affected by Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.


Taking of Oysters.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from Dixon Bros., Ltd., for a license to take oysters at Foveaux Strait by means of a 58 ft. 25 h.p. launch.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 10th April, 1938.

Notice of Adoption under Part IX of the Native Land Act, 1931.

IT is hereby notified that an order of adoption as set out in the Schedule hereunder was made by the Native Land Court at Hastings on the 24th day of November, 1937, under the provisions of the Native Land Act, 1931.

Election of Members of the Public Service Superannuation Board.

IN accordance with the regulations made under the provisions of the Public Service Superannuation Act, 1927, the official count of votes polled at the election held on the 7th day of March, 1938, for two members of the Public Service Superannuation Board to represent contributors belonging to the Post and Telegraph Department, took place at the Board Room, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 23rd day of March, 1938.

The following is the number of votes recorded for each candidate:—
