Taking of Fish.
HEREBY give notice that applications have been
received from—
(1) J. H. Whitelaw, for a license to take fish at Russell
by means of a 36 ft. 30 h.p. launch, using set-nets,
long and hand lines, and supplying the Russell
market.
(2) W. A. Young, for a license to take fish at Katikati by
means of a 34 ft. 16 h.p. launch, using set-nets,
long and hand lines, and supplying the Tauranga
market.
(3) J. H. Cheeseman, for a license to take fish at the Wairau
Bar by means of a 16 ft. 3 h.p. outboard motor-boat,
using set-nets, long and hand lines, and supplying
the Blenheim market.
(4) P. Coutts, for a license to take fish and crayfish at
Whakatane by means of a 26 ft. 23 h.p. launch,
using hand-lines and crayfish pots, and supplying
the Whakatane market.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by
the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the
undersigned not later than the 14th April, 1938.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit.
HEREBY give notice that applications have been
received from—
(1) W. George, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at
his store at Te Mawhia.
(2) K. H. Bird, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at
his guest-house at Taurikura.
(3) Mrs. E. F. Ross, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit
at a garage in Skeet Road, Auroa.
(4) J. Pagan, for permission to transfer one petrol pump
from the present premises at 143 Liddle Street to
new premises at 77 Tweed Street, Invercargill.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the
undersigned not later than the 14th April, 1938. All repre-
sentations must set out clearly the grounds for same and
include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of
petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the
person making the representations.
