Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 634 acres 3 roods 25 perches, more or less, and being Sections 6 and 7, Block IX, Takahue Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 4/12, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 29091.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of March, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 27, Block VI, Pakiri Survey District: Area, 61 acres 0 roods 30 perches, more or less. (L. and S. 4/800.)
All that area containing by admeasurement 26 acres 3 roods 8-8 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on a plan deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland under No. 13571, and being portion of Allotment 123, Parish of Paremoremo, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 319, folio 156, Auckland Registry. AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Sections 1 and 2, Block V, Whareorino Survey District, containing together an area of 551 acres, more or less.
Also Sections 12 and 13, Block V, Whareorino Survey District, containing together an area of 15 acres 2 roods, more or less.
Also Section 6, Block VII, Whareorino Survey District: Area: 423 acres 1 rood, more or less.
Also Section 7, Block X, Whareorino Survey District: Area: 467 acres, more or less. (L. and S. 4/510.)
Section 7, Block III, Horohoro Survey District: Area, 239 acres 3 roods 13 perches, more or less. (L. and S. XI/1/1132.)
All that area containing by admeasurement 47 acres, more or less, being part of Section 2, Block XV, Wairoa Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north generally by the Wairere Stream; towards the east generally by part of Okauia No. 1 Block, 1120 links; and towards the south generally by other part of Section 2, Block XV, Wairoa Survey District, Lot 1 of Section 3 of the aforesaid Block XV, and a public road, 1186-5, 314, 066-6, 407-5, 2428-9, and 180 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 300E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (L. and S. 300.)
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
Section 7, Block XVI, Kaitarau Survey District: Area, 11 acres, more or less. (L. and S. 4/508.)
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Reserve No. 1228 (formerly part Section 2689 and part Subdivision 1 of Section 2768), Block I, Kopara Survey District: Area, 39 acres 1 rood 26 perches, more or less. (L. and S. 4/815.)
Reserve No. 1226, Block II, Toaroha Survey District: Area, 865 acres, more or less. (L. and S. 4/802.)
All that area containing 74 acres, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 913, Block XI, Kaniere Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the southern side of Kaniere Lake Road, being the most northern corner of Section 1778, Block XI, Kaniere Survey District; thence running 229° 15' for 3000 links; thence 319° 15' for 2930 links; thence 49° 15' for 2420-5 links to the Kaniere Lake Road; thence 131° 28' for 1045-9 links to Reserve 841; thence along the north-western, south-western, and south-eastern boundaries of the said Reserve 841 for 221° 28' for 150 links, 131° 28' for 173-8 links, and 41° 28' for 64-8 links respectively to the aforesaid Kaniere Lake Road; thence along the said road 173° 53' for 285-3 links; thence 116° 08' for 587-1 links; thence 100° 59' for 571-1 links; and thence 128° 33' for 472-9 links, to the point of commencement; save and except the streams running through the above area. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/176a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (L. and S. 4/176.)
Reserve 1237, Block III, Toaroha Survey District: Area, 437 acres, more or less. (L. and S. 4/801.)
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing by admeasurement 21 acres 2 roods 15 perches, more or less, being part of Section 28, Block VI, Woodland Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Section 2, Block V, 1171 links; towards the east by other part of the said Section 28, 3690-7 links; and towards the south-west by Section 2, Block VI, 3973-7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/752, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
