THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Including Crown Land in the Tokaanu Development Scheme.
PURSUANT to section 7 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby declares the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Tokaanu Development Scheme.

Notice to Mariners No. 12 of 1938.
Marine Department, Wellington, N.Z., 17th March, 1938.
NEW ZEALAND.-SOUTH ISLAND.-PORT LYTTELTON.
(1) Lights established at Camp Bay.
(2) Lights established on Naval Point Reclamation Area.
(1) Position : Camp Bay. Front light 078½° 1,820 ft. from 667 ft. trig. in Lat. 43° 37'·3 S.; Long., 172° 46'.2 E. (approx.).
Rear Light : 195¼° 150 ft. from front light.
Details : A fixed red light has been established in each of the above positions at elevations of 45 ft. and 60 ft. respectively to facilitate night navigation and for anchoring.
(2) Position : Front beacon 265° 610 ft. from light on end of Officers Point Mole.
Rear Beacon : 303½° 880 ft. from front beacon.
Details : A fixed amber light has been established on each of the beacons at elevations of 27 ft. and 37 ft. respectively.
These lights are on the same line as the existing wooden beacons and intersect the centre-line of the dredged channel.

NEW ZEALAND.-NORTH ISLAND.-PORT OF NAPIER. Alteration in Berthing-hours.
MARINERS are hereby advised that the berthing-hours will shortly be altered to 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted.

SOUTH PACIFIC.-TONGA OR FRIENDLY ISLANDS. Euaiki Island : Light to be established.
Position : On the summit of Euaiki Island, lat., 21° 07' S; long., 174° 59' W. (approx.).
Abridged description : Fl. ev. 4 sec. 240 ft. 20 M (U).
Details : The light will be established shortly and without further notice. Character-Flashing white every four seconds, flash 0-4 second. Elevation-240 ft. (approx.) Visibility--20 miles. Structure--Steel, 60 ft. high. The light will be unwatched.

Position : 270° 0-5 cable from north-west corner of New Wharf, at the Naval Depot, Kauri Point. Lat., 36° 49½' S.; long., 174° 42' E. (approx.).
Details : A black mooring-buoy will shortly be established in the above position. No further notice will be given.
