Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) Bourne and Scarlett, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a garage in Bridge Street, Nelson.
(2) Gough, Gough, and Hamer, Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the company’s premises in Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North.
(3) C. E. Spear, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed new service station on the corner of Barbadoes Street and Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch.
(4) J. D. Dryland, for a license to install two petrol pumps for the purpose of the retail sale of motor-spirit at a proposed new garage in Hinemoa Street, Rotorua.
(5) Foreman Motors, Ltd., for permission to transfer one petrol pump from a garage in Alma Street to new premises in Hood Street, Hamilton.
(6) Sutherland and Pearson, Ltd., for permission to move the company’s petrol pumps on its existing site at 56 Queen Street, Onehunga, and group them in the form of a drive through service station.
(7) Miss E. Hodgson, for permission to install one additional petrol pump at the applicant’s petrol reselling site at Manai’a.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 7th April, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Manufacture of Electric-ranges.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from The Osborne Gas Stove Co., Ltd., Christchurch, for a license to engage in the manufacture of electric-ranges.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 7th April, 1938.
