Mining Privileges struck off the Register.
NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of section 188 (4) of the Mining Act, 1926, as amended by section 18 of the Mining Amendment Act, 1937, that the mining privileges held under the licenses mentioned in the Schedule hereto have been struck off the Register of Mining Privileges from the date hereof.

I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses have been made.

- One of the conditions on which the above license was granted was that Boots, The Chemists (N.Z.), Ltd., shall not commence business in the premises governed by the transfer within a period of three months from the date of the granting of the transfer. The attachment of this condition to the licenses is to enable—(1) the local pharmacists to take such steps as they may deem necessary to organize their individual businesses, and (2) the formulation by the Pharmacy Plan Industrial Committee of a compulsory retail drug tariff for pharmacists.

Taking of Fish.
I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) T. Rae-Douglas, for a license to take fish at Westport by means of an 18 ft. 1½ h.p. launch, using long and hand lines, set and drag nets, and supplying the Westport market.
(2) C. E. Bromley, for a license to take fish at Westport by means of a 23 ft. 4 h.p. launch, using long and hand lines, set and drag nets, and supplying the Westport market.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 7th April, 1938.

Notice to Persons affected by Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from C. E. Saunders, Ltd., for permission to transfer the company's petrol reselling station from the site on the corner of Maxwell Road and Scott Street to a new site in Main Street, Blenheim.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 1st April, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
