THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF SOUTHLAND.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Education Act, 1914, and of the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Southland proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the establishment of a public school—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken :

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the said Education Board situated in Tay Street, Invercargill, and is open for inspection by all persons (without fee) during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Education Board at its office in Tay Street, Invercargill, aforesaid.

SCHEDULE.

All that piece of land situated in the Campbelltown Hundred containing 1 rood, more or less, being Lot 12, Block VIII, on Plan No. 225, deposited in the Lands Registry Office at Invercargill, and part of Section 7, Block I, on the map of the said Hundred, and all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register-book Volume 89, folio 255, the registered proprietor of which land is John Thomas Harry Albert Cantrick, of Bluff, Fisherman.
