THE WELLINGTON FUR COMPANY, LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE WELLINGTON FUR COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that by entry in its minute-book on the 24th day of February, 1938, the following resolutions were passed by the above-named company:—
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily; and
“2. That DAVID MARKHAM, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be the liquidator of the company.”

All persons or companies having claims against the company are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or before the 24th day of March, 1938, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

Memorandum.—The liquidation above referred to is being carried out under section 226 of the Companies Act, 1933, and is intended to facilitate re-organization of the business.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
Wellington District.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of OVERSEAS TRADERS, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that an Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 18th day of February, 1938, confirming the reduction of capital of the above company from £3,000 to £1,500, and the minute (approved by the Court) showing with respect to the capital of the company, as altered, the several particulars required by the above Act, were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 28th day of February, 1938: And, further, take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—
“The capital of Overseas Traders, Limited, henceforth is £1,500, divided into 1,500 shares numbered 1 to 1500 of £1 each reduced from £3,000 divided into 3,000 shares numbered 1 to 3000 of £1 each, by repaying the 1,500 shares of £1 each numbered 1501 to 3000, the capital which is paid off being in excess of the wants of the company and cancelling such shares. At the date of registration of this minute the full sum of £1 per share has been and is to be deemed paid up on the said 1,500 shares numbered 1 to 1500.”

RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Riccarton Borough Council resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing interest (3¼%), sinking fund (3¼%), and other charges on the said loan the Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirteen-sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the North-west Improvement Loan Special Rating-area as defined in a notice published in The Press newspaper on the 12th September, 1923, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years or such shorter period as may be determined by the Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
