Vesting the Control of a Reserve for Quarry Purposes in the Waikato County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of March, 1938.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is an area permanently reserved for quarry purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Waikato County Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Waikato County Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Crown or the Main Highways Board is to have the right to be supplied at cost price with such quantities of metal as may be required.

The Cambridge Borough Council is to be given the right to obtain such quantities of metal as may be required for use in the borough at cost price.

Union of Alexandra and Alexandra Town Belt Domains.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of March, 1938.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, the public domains described in the Schedules hereto shall be united to form one public domain, to be known as the Alexandra Domain.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALEXANDRA DOMAIN.—OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
SECTIONS 1 to 23, Block XI, and 1 to 22, Block XII, Town of Alexandra: Area, 10 acres 2 roods 5 perches, more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/531b, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALEXANDRA TOWN BELT DOMAIN.—OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing by admeasurement 158 acres 3 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Town Belt and Section 3, Block XIX, Town of Alexandra: Bounded towards the north-east by Sections 1 and 2 (cemetery reserves), Block XXXVIII, of aforesaid Town, 2200 links; towards the north-west by aforesaid Section 2, 500 links; again towards the north-east by Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District, 5145 links; towards the south-east by the Manuherikia River, 1030 links; towards the south-west by the Town of Alexandra, 6000 links; again towards the south-east by the Town of Alexandra, 10050 links; again towards the south-west by the Clutha River, 1375 links; and again towards the north-west by Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District, 11350 links, excepting out of the above-described boundaries, Crockhaven Street, Otago Central Railway Reserve, and four road lines each 100 links wide, allowance for which has been made in the area; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 1/531c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of March, 1938.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed resolutions recommending that the portion of the Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve Extension, as described in the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve Extension as described in the Schedule hereto shall, from the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Mangonui County containing by admeasurement 19 acres 0 roods 12 perches, more or less, being part Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve Extension, now known as Section 14, Block VIII, Opoe Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1747i, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
