Revocation of the Reservation of a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far only as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation of the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, whereby the said land (with certain other land) was set apart as a permanent State forest, and declare that the reservation thereby effected is (so far only as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.

SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District containing by admeasurement 218 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or less, and being Section 487, Block VI, Forest Hill Hundred. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 212/6, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of February, 1938.

Land in the Westland Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land :
And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto (being land heretofore held on a license issued under the regulations for the occupation of pastoral lands within the Karamea and Westland Mining Districts) has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the twenty-ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
PART section 3149, Block XVI, Waiwhero Survey District : Area, 73 acres 3 roods 23 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of February, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the reservation as a permanent State forest of the land described in the Schedule hereto (which reservation was effected by Warrant dated the thirteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, and by the State Forests Act, 1908).

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District containing by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less, and being Section 8, Block IV, Hawera Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 69/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of February, 1938.

Altering and Redefining the Boundaries of the Otorohanga Rabbit District.—(Notice No. Ag. 3535.)

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of February, 1938.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section thirty-one of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General, at the request of the Board of any Rabbit District, may by Order in Council alter and redefine the boundaries of its district :
And whereas the district known as the Otorohanga Rabbit District has been constituted under and for the purposes of the said Act :
And whereas the Board of the said district has, pursuant to the said section thirty-one of the said Act, requested that the boundaries of its district be altered and redefined by including an additional area therein :
And whereas the consent of a majority of the persons in such additional area qualified to be enrolled on the ratepayers’ list for the said district has been given to the inclusion of such additional area in the said district :
