Authorizing the Acquisition of Land notwithstanding the Provisions as to Limitation of Area.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the alienation by way of sale to, and the acquisition by, the body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the Native Land Act, 1931.

SCHEDULE.
(1) All that parcel of land containing 352 acres 2 roods 19 perches, more or less, being the land situate in the Wairoa and Opahoke Survey Districts called Wharekawa No. 4A No. 2, and being the land comprised in a partition order made by the Native Land Court on the 20th day of June, 1913.
(2) All that parcel of land containing 822 acres 2 roods, more or less, being the land situate in the Opahoke Survey District called Wharekawa No. 5B North No. 1, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 283, folio 140, Auckland Registry.
(3) All that parcel of land containing 1,876 acres 2 roods, more or less, being the land situate in the Wharekawa and Opahoke Survey Districts called Wharekawa No. 5B North No. 2, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 250, folio 94, Auckland Registry.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Tauranga Harbour Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in the Tauranga Harbour Board in trust for signal-station purposes by virtue of the provisions of section five of the Tauranga Foreshore Vesting and Endowment Act, 1915 :
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Tauranga Harbour Board has duly consented to such cancellation :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Tauranga Harbour Board of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Section 1, Block VII, Tauranga Survey District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods 34 perches, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L and S. 13/19, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 4802.)

Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Matamata Township (Suburbs), Auckland Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for police paddock purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Matamata Borough, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 39 perches, more or less, being part Section 152, Matamata Township (Suburbs), bounded towards the north-east by Tower Road 802-9 links; towards the south-east by Barwood Road 495-4 links; towards the south-west by Lots 5 and 1 on D.P. 15647, 829-4 links; towards the north-west by Section 154, Block II, Tapapa Survey District, 240-0 links; towards the north-east and again towards the north-west by the other part of Section 152, Matamata Township (Suburbs), 100 and 250 links respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L and S. 6/7/63x, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan S.O. 29260.)

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Whakatane Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Whakatane Domain Board.
