DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE partnership heretofore subsisting between DUDLEY
WILSON LOCK and CLAUDE MORRIS carrying on
business as “cabinetmakers” at Von Tempsky Street,
Hamilton East, was dissolved by mutual consent on 20th
November, 1937. Mr. Morris will continue the business at
the same address on his own account, and will pay and receive
all moneys owing by and due to the late firm.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Franklin County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges on a loan of one hundred thousand pounds
(£100,000) authorized to be raised by the Franklin County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
improving main highways and other roads in Franklin
County, including construction, reconstruction, formation,
metalling, and surfacing same, the erection of bridges, and
provision of culverts thereon, the taking and purchase of
land for any necessary deviations, the cost of machinery,
plant, materials, labour, engineering, and legal and survey
costs incidental thereto, the said Franklin County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-twentieths
of a penny (7/20d.) in the pound upon the rateable value, on
the basis of the capital value, of all rateable property of
the whole of the County of Franklin, and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Franklin County Council at its
meeting held on the 29th day of November, 1937.
