Directing Sale of Railway Land at Caversham under the Public Works Act, 1928.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of November, 1937.

WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise, howsoever, for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the said land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 0·28 perches. Portion of railway land (part of Allotment 6, Deeds Plan 67, Township of Sydney).

Situated in Section 22, Block VI, Town District Survey District, City of Dunedin. (S.O. 237F, red.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4962, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Eric Charles Arnold, Robert Avery, Robert Austin, Frances Buschl, Arthur Henry William Bevan, Eric Lewis Gill, and Eric Harry Gates

to be the Mapua Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Social Club Hall, Toru Street, Mapua, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 19·7 perches, more or less, and being Lot 110 (D.P. 657) of portion of Section 2, Moutere Hills, Block II, Moutere Survey District. To be the Fergusson Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Fergusson Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ALL that area in the Borough of Onehunga, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 14·3 perches, more or less, being Lots 479 and 480 on plan 17735, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Auckland, and being portions of Allotments 13 and 14 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/923, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
