Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act,
1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line
described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a
road:

32 0 15 Waituhi-Kuratau 4B 2 Block, Blocks III and
IV, Maungaku Survey District: coloured
yellow.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1438A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2804, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of
November, 1937.

Boundaries of Borough of Balclutha and County of Bruce
altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
December, 1937.

Present:

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS in pursuance of section one hundred and
thirty-six of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, a
petition was presented to the Governor-General praying
that a certain area of land be excluded from the County of
Bruce and included in the Borough of Balclutha:

And whereas it is expedient to make such alteration of the
boundaries of the said borough:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the said Municipal Cor-
porations Act, 1933, and of all other powers and authorities
enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby declare that as on and from
the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
eight, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be
excluded from the County of Bruce and included in the
Borough of Balclutha.

SCHEDULE.

AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF BRUCE AND INCLUDED
IN THE BOROUGH OF BALCLUTHA.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by
admeasurement 34 acres, more or less, being Sections 1, 2,
and 27, Block XVII, Town of Balclutha, and being the
Townships of Helensborough and Springfield: Bounded on
the east by Sections 28 and 43, Block XVII, Town of
Balclutha, on the south-west by Yarmouth Street, on the
north-west by Section 3, Block XVII, Town of Balclutha,
and on the north-east generally by Elizabeth Street and the
Main South Road to the north-western corner of Section 28
aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Mangatainoka
Village Settlement, Wellington Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this
24th day of November, 1937.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule
hereto is a reserve duly set apart for gravel
purposes:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the
reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve
for a site for a roadman's cottage:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of
section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the
purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby changed from a reserve for gravel purposes
to a reserve for a site for a roadman's cottage.

SECTION 86, Mangatainoka Village Settlement, Block IV,
Mangahao Survey District: Area, 2 acres 3 roods,
more or less.

Directing Application of Moneys received in respect of Portion
of the Ormond Domain, Gisborne Land District, for the
Purposes of the Te Puia Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
December, 1937.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by section sixty-one of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that from the
moneys received in respect of that portion of the Ormond
Domain described in the First Schedule hereto, and at the
date hereof lying to the credit of the said portion, a sum
not exceeding fifteen pounds shall be applied in managing,
administering, and improving the Te Puia Domain, described
in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.-PORTION OF ORMOND DOMAIN.

ALL that area in Block I, Waimata Survey District, con-
taining by admeasurement 107 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more
or less, being the section marked "Bush Reserve," and being
the land referred to in the Order in Council dated 1st August,
1910, and published in Gazette No. 75 of the 4th of that
month, at page 3115.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.-TE PUIA DOMAIN.

SECTIONS 27 and 28, Te Puia Suburbs: Area, 9 acres 1 rood
6 perches, more or less.

Section 137, Te Puia Suburbs, being the Ratahi Lagoon:
Area, 6 acres 3 roods, more or less. (Gisborne Plan C.P. 1926.)
Also Sections 1 to 5 and 10, Block IV, Te Puia Township:
Area, 3 acres 3 roods 36.7 perches, more or less.
