ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of November, 1937.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

John Castling Garthwaite,
George Hewen Harvey,
Leslie Turnbull Padget,
Clarence John Soper,
George Henry Soper,
Lindo George Charles Soper, and
Colin Turnbull Stewart

to be the Athol Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Athol Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

License authorizing the Auckland Transport Board to erect Electric Lines along a certain Route in the City of Auckland.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of December, 1937.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth—subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto—hereby authorize the Auckland Transport Board (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) to erect and maintain electric lines along the route described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of supplying power to trackless electric cars.

SCHEDULE.

ROUTE.

ALL that route shown by green lines on the plan deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and marked P.W.D. 97436, the said route being generally described as follows:—

  1. Lines for one-way traffic commencing at a point at the south-eastern corner of the intersection of Wyndham and Hobson Streets and proceeding southerly along Hobson Street to Victoria Street, thence along Victoria Street to Queen Street, thence along Queen Street to Wyndham Street, thence along Wyndham Street to the point of commencement.

  2. Lines for two-way traffic commencing at the junction of Wyndham and Hobson Streets, where the one-way traffic line commences, and proceeding northerly along Hobson Street to Fanshawe Street, thence along Fanshawe Street to Halsey Street, thence along Halsey Street to the licensee’s garage.

CONDITIONS.

  1. This license is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, and the Electrical Wiring Regulations, 1935, and to any regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof, or in substitution therefor.
