to be Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Hastings for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, and Maintenance Officer at the Magistrates’ Court at Hastings for the purposes of the Destitute Persons Amendment Act, 1926, as from the 1st day of October, 1937.

Child Welfare Amendment Act, 1927.—Children’s Home registered.

IN pursuance of the power vested in me by section 6, subsection (1) of the Child Welfare Amendment Act, 1927, I, Peter Fraser, Minister of Education, do hereby notify that the Children’s Rest Home, 149 Highgate, Roslyn, Dunedin, has been registered as a children’s home as from the date hereof.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in him by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, and the regulations thereunder, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby cancel the registration of the Feilding and District Acclimatization Society.
