Revocation of Appointment as Ranger under the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22.

IN exercise of the powers vested in him by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby revoke the appointment of
Allister Guy Hargreaves, of Makarora,
as Ranger under the said Act for the Otago Acclimatization District.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces :—
STAFF AND COMMANDS.
Lieutenant-Colonel S. H. Ward, E.D., M.R.C.S., Eng., L.R.C.P. Lond., N.Z. Medical Corps, relinquishes the appointments of Assistant Director of Medical Services and O.C., N.Z.M.C., Northern Command, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Northern Command. Dated 31st August, 1937.
Lieutenant-Colonel J. H. Will, M.B., from the Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant-Colonel, N.Z. Medical Corps, with seniority from 28th December, 1935, and is appointed Assistant Director of Medical Services and O.C., N.Z.M.C., Northern Command. Dated 1st September, 1937.
The period of command of Major W. G. C. Ashbridge, Central Depot, N.Z. Corps of Signals, is extended to 31st May, 1938.
Captain G. Dittmer, M.B.E., M.C., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointments of Staff Officer-in-Charge (temp.) No. 4 Regimental District, Adjutant, 1st Battalion, The Waikato Regiment, and Area Officer, Area 4B, Hamilton, and is appointed Commandant, Northern Military District School of Instruction, Narrow Neck. Dated 11th September, 1937.
Captain I. R. Withell, B.Sc., Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery, relinquishes the appointment of Ordnance Mechanical Engineer and retains the appointment of Inspecting Ordnance Officer. Dated 21st September, 1937.
Captain A. H. L. Sugden, N.Z. Staff Corps, having returned to New Zealand after undergoing a tour of instruction in England, ceases to be seconded, and is posted to G.H.Q. Training Depot, Trentham. Dated 10th September, 1937.
Captain A. J. Moore, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Staff Officer-in-Charge (temp.) No. 12 Regimental District, Invercargill, and is appointed Adjutant, Southern District School of Instruction, Burnham. Dated 16th September, 1937.
Lieutenant A. H. Andrews, B.E., N.Z. Army Ordnance Corps, is appointed Ordnance Mechanical Engineer (temp.) Dated 21st September, 1937.
THE WELLINGTON EAST COAST MOUNTED RIFLES.
The undermentioned 2nd Lieutenants to be Lieutenants. Dated 1st September, 1937 :—

2nd Lieutenant A. F. E. Tylee, B.Sc., 3rd Field Company, to be Lieutenant. Dated 29th August, 1937.
N.Z. CORPS OF SIGNALS.
2nd Lieutenant R. Dasler, Southern Depot, to be Lieutenant. Dated 29th August, 1937.
THE AUCKLAND REGIMENT (COUNTESS OF RANFURLY’S OWN).
Lieutenant N. H. Svendsen, 1st Battalion, resigns his commission on appointment to a commission in the Royal Air Force. Dated 23rd September, 1937.
The commission granted to 2nd Lieutenant C. E. Hubbard, 1st Battalion, is hereby cancelled. Dated 14th September, 1937.
THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT.
Captain J. D. Mackay, 1st Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 10. Dated 16th September, 1937.
Lieutenant S. J. Lambourne ceases to be attached to the 2nd Heavy Artillery Group (Artillery Section, Rongotai College Cadets) and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated 23rd February, 1937.
THE WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGIMENT.
The undermentioned 2nd Lieutenants, 1st Battalion, to be Lieutenants. Dated 29th August, 1937 :—

Captain F. E. Wilkes, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 11. Dated 20th September, 1937.
