Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks VI and VII, Puniu Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Kihikihi, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Greymouth and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Classification of Roads in Panmure Township Road District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, the Minister of Transport does hereby alter the Panmure Township Road Board’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Panmure Township Road District, and does hereby approve such altered classification as set forth in the said Schedule.

PANMURE TOWNSHIP ROAD DISTRICT.

ROAD classified in Class Two: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 8 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 12 tons:—

Ellerslie–Howick Main Highway No. 89 (all that portion within Panmure Township Road District).

Roads classified in Class Four: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 4½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons.

Allenby Road, Bridge Road, Cleary Road, Church Crescent, Domain Road, Dunn Road, Green Road, Ireland Road, Jellicoe Road, King’s Road, Pilkington Road, Pleasant View Road, River View Road, Sunset View Road, Thompson Road.
