Classification of Road in Hokianga County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, the Minister of Transport does hereby declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Hokianga County shall belong to the class of roads set forth in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
Road classified in Class Four: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 4½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons:—

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and by the regulations made on the 12th May, 1914, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st May, 1914, the following officer, at the address set against his name, is hereby appointed Transmitting and Receiving Officer for the purpose of dealing with all notices by telegraph sent under the said Act or regulations, and of signing such certificates in relation to the service of any such notices as are required or authorized to be signed or given under the said Act or the regulations aforesaid:—

Fixing the Rates of the Levy on all Wool produced in New Zealand.—(Notice No. Ag. 3510.)
PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by section 10 (2) of the Wool Industry Promotion Act, 1936, I, William Lee Martin, Minister of Agriculture, hereby fix the rates following, that is to say, —
(a) For each bale, sixpence;
(b) For each fadge, threepence; and
(c) For each bag or sack, one penny;
to be the rates of the levy to be charged on all wool produced in New Zealand which at any time during the season commencing on the 1st day of October, 1937, is exported from New Zealand or is delivered to a wool-manufacturer for use in New Zealand.

Hauraki Plains Drainage Area.—Notice of Intention to make and levy Rates.
Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 21st September, 1937.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to the Hauraki Plains Act, 1926, to make and levy on the unimproved value of all land within the district constituted under the said Act the general rates to meet maintenance-costs for the period 1st April, 1937, to 31st March, 1938, as described in the Schedule hereto.
The amount of such rates will be payable in one sum on the 11th October, 1937.
The valuation roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Chief Drainage Engineer's Office, Room 45, Government Buildings, Customs Street, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at the office of the Chief Drainage Engineer, at Kererpechi, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.
SCHEDULE.
Class A: On the unimproved value of all land classified as Class A by the appraiser appointed under the said Act, threepence and fifty-five one-hundredths of a penny (3·55d.) in the pound.
Class B: On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class B, twopence and three-hundredths of a penny (2·03d.) in the pound.
Class C: On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class C, fifty-hundredths of a penny (0·50d.) in the pound.
