Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road
in Blocks VII, VIII, and XII, Tauhara Survey District,
Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto
traverses Native land and has been used by the public
as a public road and has been formed, improved, and maintained out of public funds or the funds of the local authority:
And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on
the fifteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-six, and issued pursuant to section four hundred and
eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and
declared the said road to be a public road:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed
as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been
forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four
hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should
be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four
hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do
hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road:
41 acres 1 rood 3·5 perches.
Being portion of Tauhara Middle 4A 2 Block.
Situated in Blocks VII, VIII, and XII, Tauhara Survey
District. (Plan 15756, red.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 7/793B,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2796, and thereon coloured
red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of
August, 1937.

Authorizing the Exchange of a Reserve in Town of Picton,
Marlborough Land District, for other Land.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of
September, 1937.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule
hereto is a reserve duly set apart for purposes in
connection with the diversion of the Waitohi Stream: And
whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged
for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which
the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable
for the purposes of the reserve:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land
described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged
for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District containing
by admeasurement 1 rood 0·6 perches, more or less, being
Section 338, Town of Picton, bounded as follows: Towards
the north, 200 links, by Section 337; towards the east,
126·98 links, by Auckland Street; towards the south, 200
links, by Section 339; and towards the west, 126·98 links,
by Section 340; all the above-mentioned sections being in
the Town of Picton.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE
THEREFOR.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District containing
by admeasurement 1 rood 0·6 perches, more or less, being
Section 335, Town of Picton, bounded as follows:
Towards the north, 250 links, by Section 334; towards the
east, 101·58 links, by Auckland Street; towards the south,
250 links, by Section 336; and towards the west, 101·58 links,
by Section 1153; all the above-mentioned sections being in
the Town of Picton.

Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Town of
Whakatane, Auckland Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of
September, 1937.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation for a site for Road Board
offices and buildings over the land described in the Schedule
hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being
vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal
under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing by admeasurement 7·2 perches,
more or less, being part Allotment 1A, Town of Whakatane:
Bounded towards the east generally by Commerce Street,
31·4 and 128·8 links; towards the south generally by Allot-
ment 378, Waimana Parish, 54·6 links; and towards the
north-west generally by Section 12, Block II, Whakatane
Survey District; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 13/22A, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red. (Auckland plan S.O. 28612L.)

Cancelling the Vesting of Part of a Reserve in the Whakatane
County Council.
GALWAY Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day
of September, 1937.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is
part of a reserve for a site for Road Board offices and
buildings, and is vested in the Whakatane County Council:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said
land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the
Whakatane County Council has duly consented to such can-
cellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928,
doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Whakatane County
Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
