IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Opaheke Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 25·4 perches.
Adjoining or passing through parts Section 278, Suburbs of Pokeno (D.P. 9587), and Section 380 and part Section 402, Town of Pokeno.
Situated in Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28529.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96478, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 583 acres, more or less, and being Section 3, Block XIII, Tairua Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan No. 23/40, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 28966.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of September, 1937.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALLOTMENTS 73 and 74, Parish of Manaia: Area, 143 acres 2 roods, more or less.
Allotment 75, Parish of Manaia: Area, 56 acres, more or less.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Reserve 1206 (formerly part Section 2256), Block I, Poerua Survey District: Area, 11 acres 0 roods 15 perches, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of September, 1937.
