Authorizing the Coromandel Chamber of Commerce (Inc.), of Coromandel, to erect certain Electric Lines in the Township of Coromandel.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of January, 1937.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Coromandel Chamber of Commerce, being a body duly incorporated under the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto on the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.
- PURPOSE OF LINES.
THE said lines may be used for lighting, power, and heating purposes.
- LICENSE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS.
The license hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Wiring Regulations, 1935, the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.
The conditions directed to be implied in all licenses by the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this license except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.
The system of supply shall be direct current, pursuant to paragraph (d) of clause 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935.
- VOLTAGE OF LINES.
Electrical energy shall be transmitted at a pressure of 32 volts between terminals in respect of the lines authorized in paragraph (a) of the Schedule hereto, and at a pressure of 230 volts between terminals in respect of the lines authorized in paragraph (b) of the said Schedule.
- DURATION OF LICENSE.
Unless sooner lawfully determined, this license shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1958, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric-power Board or other general public source, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE.
LINES adapted for supply as prescribed in these presents for the transmission of electricity, leading—
(a) From the premises known as the Golconda Hotel, Coromandel, being part of Rapanga No. 3 Block, to a pole on the south side of Furey’s Bridge, a distance of approximately 114 ft.; and
(b) From the premises of Denize Bros., Garage-proprietors, being part of Parangu No. 11 Block, to a pole on the northern side of Kapanga Road, a distance of approximately 4 chains; all being situated in the Township of Coromandel and more particularly delineated by means of red lines on plan P.W.D. 94096, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of January, 1937.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for Customhouse and Resident Magistrate’s Court purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Rawene Town District, Hokianga County, containing by admeasurement 28·6 perches, more or less, being Section 248B, Town of Rawene (formerly Town of Herd’s Point), and being portion of an area reserved for Customhouse and Resident Magistrate’s Court purposes by Gazette, 1884, page 1493. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/57A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 1 acre 0 roods 23 perches.
Being portion of Motatau No. 2 Section 22D, being portion of Lot 22 on D.P. 9584.
Situated in Block XVI, Kawakawa Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28483.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93456, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
