Defining the Middle Line of a Road in Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Pokeno-Paeroa via Ngatea No. 14 State Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a road desired to be constructed over Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Pokeno-Paeroa via Ngatea No. 14 State Highway, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the Auckland-Hamilton No. 7 State Highway near the north-western boundary of Allotment 122, Mangatawhiri Parish, Suburban Section I, Settlement of Pokeno, Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 80 chains and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Allotments 128, 68, 69, 52, 53, 54, and 55, Mangatawhiri Parish, Suburban Section 1, Settlement of Pokeno, Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District, and terminating at a point on the Pokeno-Paeroa via Ngatea No. 14 State Highway, at a point about 4 chains east of the north-western corner of Allotment 58, Mangatawhiri Parish, Suburban Section 1, Settlement of Pokeno, Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94576, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of January, 1937.

Settlement Land in Auckland Land District proclaimed to be Ordinary Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, as amended by subsection one of section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1935, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any settlement land to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is settlement land within the meaning of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, amended as aforesaid, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 33 acres 1 rood 39·8 perches, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 26323, and being part Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 26F 2D 1 Block, comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 680, folio 270, Auckland Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of January, 1937.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Crown Land in the Southland Land District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Amendment Act, 1919, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the Gazette of the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.
SECTION 61, Block VII, Oteramika Hundred: Area, 141 acres 2 roods 33 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of January, 1937.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section twenty-four of the Mortgagors and Lessees Rehabilitation Act, 1936, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Maxwell Aldred, Esquire, of Waiuku, to be Chairman of the Auckland District Adjustment Commission in place of William Joshua Gatenby, Esquire, of Auckland.

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the alienation by way of sale to, and the acquisition by, the body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, of the land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the Native Land Act, 1931.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing 2,110 acres 2 roods 26 perches more or less, being Lot 1 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 26151, being part of the block situate in the Opaheke and Wharekawa Survey Districts called Wharekawa No. 5B South No. 1, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title Vol. 283, folio 136, Auckland Registry.
