Changing the Purpose of the Reservation over Portion of the Omaka Domain.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of January, 1937.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the portion of the Omaka Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and shall be deemed to be a public reserve for a site for an aerodrome subject to Part I of the said Act, was published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six:
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of subsection two of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the twenty-eighth and twenty-ninth days of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, approved the proposed change of purpose as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one of section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the portion of the Omaka Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be a public reserve for a site for an aerodrome subject to Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—PORTION OF OMAKA DOMAIN.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 242 acres, more or less, being Section 31 and part 2 of Section 33, Omaka, situated in Block III, Taylor Pass Survey District, bounded as follows: Towards the north by Sections 32 and 30, Omaka, 3721 links, across a public road, 106 links, and by a public road 75 links wide, 1910 links; towards the east by the Taylor River; towards the south by a public road 75 links wide, 4050 links; and towards the west by part 1 of Section 33, Omaka, 5588 links; saving and excepting from the above description the public road 75 links wide intersecting the said Section 31, Omaka. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/520B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Charles Stanley Appleby,
Francis Matthew Costello,
John Frederick Mayn,
William Roy McCullough,
Bruce Frederick Patterson,
Francis Alfred John Plummer,
Daniel James Rogers,
Norman Wallace, and
Alec Whiteman
to be the Patetonga Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, at two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Pavilion, Patetonga, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
PATETONGA DOMAIN.—AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTIONS 1 to 6, Block II, Patetonga Village: Area, 1 acre 2 roods, more or less.
Sections 6 to 15, Block V, Sections 1 to 8, Block VI, Sections 4 to 10, Block VII, Patetonga Village, and Section 78, Block XIII, Waihou Survey District; Area, 10 acres 2 roods 13·2 perches, more or less.

to be the Dunstan Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-second day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Band-room, Alexandra, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
