HAWKE’S BAY RIVERS BOARD.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS.

Pursuant to section 22 of the Public Works Act, 1928, notice is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board proposes under the powers conferred by the River Boards Act, 1908, and the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Act, 1919, and their respective amendments, to execute certain public works—namely, the straightening, widening, clearing, and controlling of the course of the Ngaruroro River and the provision of a spillway for the flood-waters of the said river and the prevention of floods from the waters of the said river—and that accordingly the lands described in the schedule hereto are required to be taken for the purposes of river-works :

Notice is further given that a plan of the lands required to be taken for the purposes aforesaid is deposited in the offices of the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board, Browning Street, Napier, and is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours :

All persons affected by the execution of the said works or the taking of the said lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said works or to the taking of the said lands must set forth their objections in writing and send the same to the Clerk of the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board at the offices of the said Board, Browning Street, Napier, on or before the 13th day of September, 1937, being a date not less than forty days from the first publication of this notice.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY.

NOTICE is hereby given that The Lamson Despatch Company of New Zealand, Limited, has changed its name to Lamson Engineering Company (N.Z.), Limited, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.
