N OTICE is hereby given that a petition presented to the Supreme Court of New Zealand on the 2nd day of August, 1937, for confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £200,000 to £100,000 by cancelling capital which has been lost or is unrepresented by available assets is directed to be heard before Mr. Justice Northcroft on Friday, the 27th day of August, 1937: Any creditor desiring to oppose the making of an order for the reduction of the capital of the said company under the above Act may appear at the time of hearing by himself or by his counsel for that purpose: Such person is required to give two clear days’ notice in writing of his intention to appear, with the grounds of his objection, to the undersigned, the solicitors of the company. A copy of the petition will be furnished to any such person requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulation charges for the same.

I, VICTOR CHAPMAN, heretofore called and known by the name of VICTOR PEARD, of Henderson, near Auckland, Miller, hereby give public notice that by a deed-poll dated the 23rd day of July, 1937, duly enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Northern District (Auckland Registry), on the 28th day of July, 1937, I formally renounced the said surname of Peard and declared that I had for myself, my wife, and my children and remoter issue assumed and intended thenceforth to use the surname of Chapman instead of Peard, and so as to be at all times thereafter known by the name of Chapman exclusively.

WESTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1935, and in the matter of the Hokitika Aerodrome.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1935, the Westland County Council, the local authority having control of the Hokitika Aerodrome, hereby gives notice under section 4 of the said Act for the purpose of making the said aerodrome safe for aviation purposes—
(a) Prohibiting absolutely upon the lands described in the First Schedule hereto (excepting thereout any unoccupied lands owned by the Crown or the Westland County Council) the erection, placing, or extension, without the consent of the Minister of Public Works, of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind or the growing of any tree.
(b) Prohibiting upon the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto (excepting thereout any unoccupied lands owned by the Crown or the Westland County Council) the erection, placing, or extension, without the aforesaid consent, of any building, mast, pole, or other structure of any kind or the growing of any trees above the level of the aerodrome stop-bank.
(c) Prohibiting upon the lands described in the Third Schedule hereto (excepting thereout any unoccupied lands owned by the Crown or the Westland County Council) the erection, placing, or extension, without the aforesaid consent, of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind which would project above a plane rising from a level five feet above the surface of the nearest boundary of the aerodrome on a grade of one vertical in twenty horizontal; and, secondly, limiting the height to which any tree may be allowed to grow on such lands so that its height does not exceed twenty feet, and so that no part thereof extends above the plane aforesaid.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
All those lands situate in Block IV, Mahinapua Survey District, edged green on plan marked P.W.D. 96298, comprising, inter alia, Sections Numbered 1331, 1239, 1744, and part Sections Numbered 1264, 3315, and 1313.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
All those lands situate in Block IV, Mahinapua Survey District, edged yellow on plan marked P.W.D. 96298, comprising, inter alia, part Sections Numbered 1728, 1683, 1682, and 1645.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
All those lands situate in Block IV, Mahinapua Survey District, edged red on plan marked P.W.D. 96298, comprising, inter alia, Sections Numbered 1644, 1246, 1247, 1299, 1267, 1653, 1653, 1265, 3693, 1486, 1877, 1300, 1679, 1603, part Sections Numbered 1728, 1683, 1682, 1645, 1313, 1264, 3315, and Reserve 54 of Section Numbered 1486, and Lot 1 of Section Numbered 1605, Reserve 1725.
A copy of the above-mentioned plan P.W.D. 96298 has been lodged for inspection at the offices of the Westland County Council at Hokitika, and may be inspected there during business hours.
