Notice as to the making of By-laws under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1933.—(Notice No. Ag. 3494.)
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1933, as amended by section 4 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, of the making by the several societies named in the Schedule hereto and of the approval by the Governor-General of by-laws under the above-entitled Act controlling the admission of persons to any place used or occupied by the several societies for any meeting, show, exhibition, competition, or entertainment held by each such society. The by-laws made by the Feilding Industrial, Agricultural, and Pastoral Association on the 25th day of October, 1935, and published in the Gazette on the 21st day of November, 1935, at page 3383, are substantially the same as the by-laws made by the several societies to which this notice relates.

Notice as to an Area in Otago Land District declared to be a Fire District.
PURSUANT to section 27 of the Forests Act, 1921–22, and section 6 of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, I do hereby notify that, on the recommendation of the Director of Forestry and the Land Board of the district, the area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared by me to be a fire district, and I do further specify the period from the 1st day of October in any year to the 30th day of April in the following year, inclusive, as the period during which it shall not be lawful for any person within the said district, save pursuant to the written permit of a Forest Officer, to set on fire, or cause to be set on fire any timber (whether standing or not), or any undergrowth, or any debris from forest operations, or any land-clearing operations, or grass or other specially inflammable material, without taking such precautions as may be prescribed by a Forest Officer.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.-TAUTUKU FIRE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 4,500 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks IX and X, Woodland Survey District, Blocks IV and VIII, Tautuku Survey District, and Block XV, Rimu Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the north-west by Section 26, the crossing of a public road, Sections 9 and 11, the crossing of a public road, Sections 37, 31, 32, 33, and 34, the crossing of a public road, Sections 28 and 29, a public road, Section 25, and the crossing of a public road, all in Block VIII, Taukutu Survey District, and by Sections 5 and 6, the crossing of a public road, Section 7, the crossing of a public road, and Sections 30 and 24, all in Block IV, Tautuku Survey District ; towards the south-west by Sections 24, 22, and 21, Block IV, Tautuku Survey District ; towards the north-west by the crossing of a public road and Section 19, Block IV aforesaid, to and across the Tahakopa River to its northern bank ; towards the north by that river-bank and a railway reserve to the north-east corner of Section 3, Block IX, Woodland Survey District ; towards the north by a public road, Sections 24 and 18 of aforesaid Block IX, a public road, and Sections 33, 17, and 21, Block X, Woodland Survey District ; towards the east by a public road to the Pacific Ocean ; towards the south and south-east by the Pacific Ocean ; and towards the south-west by the channel of the Tautuku River to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 218/12, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered yellow.

Proposed Boundaries of the Raglan Electoral District.
AMENDING description to boundaries described in Gazette No. 48 of Thursday, 22nd July, 1937, at page 1700 :—
RAGLAN.
Raglan District comprises the existing Raglan Electoral District less the whole of the Pukekura, Rangioahia, Kaipaki, and Mangapiko Ridings of the Waipa County. This district now includes those portions of the Rototuna Riding of Wai-kato County and the Hamilton and Rukuhia Ridings of the Waipa County now excluded from the Hamilton Electoral District hereinbefore described, together with that portion of the said Rototuna Riding lying between the existing Hamilton Electoral District boundary, the Waikato River, and the northern boundary of the aforesaid Rototuna Riding ; also includes that portion of the Taupiri Riding of the aforesaid Waikato County lying to the south-west of Ten-foot Road and the north-eastern boundary of Lot part 220, Blocks II, III, VI, and VII, Komakorau Survey District, as shown on Land Transfer Plan 7344.
