Notice of Intention to take Land in the Borough of Thames for the Purposes of a Courthouse.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a courthouse—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Thames, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken : l rood 20 perches. Being Sections 242, 243, and 244, being portions of Nokenoke A Block. Situated in Block IV, Thames Survey District (Borough of Thames).
In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96586, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Notice of Intention to take Land for the Purposes of an Aeradio Station (for Meteorological Purposes) on Raoul (Sunday) Island.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of an aeradio station (for meteorological purposes)—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the District Engineer of the Public Works Department at Auckland, and the office of the Public Works Department at Raoul (Sunday) Island, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 275 acres, more or less, being Section 9 of Raoul (or Sunday) Island, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 475, folio 118 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96749, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable grounds for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by her own or any assumed or fictitious name), or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.
